Meet The Team
Tim Muchiri Nyaga

Tim is the founder and CEO of ASC since its inception in 2021. He’s been in financial services for 15 years including 13 years in banking.

He started his career at Citi in 2007 on the EMEA Transaction Services Analyst Programme, completing assignments in cash management, investor services and trade finance in Johannesburg, London and Lagos. He thereafter spent 8 years in Johannesburg in various regional business development and transactor roles covering trade finance in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Amin Manekia

Amin is a partner at Origin Funding Partners where he is responsible for building an asset book with clients in Africa and Latin America. Prior to that he spent 32 years in banking, having worked for 3 banks in various markets in the US, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

He started his career in 1988 with Citi’s Financial Institutions Group in New York and later Pakistan. He moved to Nairobi in 1999 and then Johannesburg in 2001, where he was responsible for Citi’s business in its 23 non-presence countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Londa Sithole

Londa is a non-executive director of ASC and has been in financial services for 10 years.

He started his career at Citi in 2012 on the EMEA Transaction Services Analyst Programme before joining the trade finance team as a transactor.

He joined RMB in 2016 as a transactor in the Trade and Working Capital division looking after telecoms and retail clients. In 2019, he joined Greensill Capital and was responsible for deal origination and execution of structured trade and debt solutions for clients in Africa.
